It was a fantasy for me,
I wasn’t prepared.
We had our tough times,
Times I was scared

Yet, you held my hand
Guided me along
And for the first time,
I trailed by
Without asking why.

Sometimes you went away
Promised me you would come.
I waited for you each day,
You arrived- Breathless you had become

You smiled, said sorry
For you were late than ever
I smiled and said, it’s okay
But I was thinking inside-
